That’s right. The assault on books has one ultimate target, the Bible. It’s the single book that categorically condemns the behaviors prevalent in liberalism, socialism, communism, fascism, and pretty much every other -ism man has created, with the authority of God. Though the Bible has not much to say on forms of government other than God’s, it has very much to say on the behavior of men and women in authority, as well as the rest of us.

The aforementioned forms of government spring from a gross evil, the presumption to be God, and they encourage continual evil for the sake of keeping the most corrupt and depraved people in power, playing God.

The liberals hate and fear the Bible because they keenly feel its condemnation. Not that many of them believe in God, but they resent the related societal institutions and stigma, and despise how they inculcate guilt. Liberals will soon attack en masse the thing that stokes their guilt acutely, the Bible. Where there is no law, there is no guilt, and that’s their objective.

Historically, repressive governments have attacked the Bible and Christianity, whether in communist China or Isalmic countries. Socialists have no room for God, unless it is self. Sighting along that bearing, we see the day coming when the US government will ban the Bible. That day has been hastened by government’s proxy, cancel culture, which does what would now be politically unfavorable, banning not just books but ideas. The fossils in Congress and the Presidency can legitimately say, “We didn’t do that!” as all business and industry fall in line as the obedient bootlickers they are. This is truly amazing to behold. Strength through spinelessness.

This whole tsunami of Dr. Seuss cancellation stupidity is just a stepping stone, but is not without its luscious irony. For now that Dr. Seuss is racist, or homophobic, or transphobic, or whateverphobic, so is Jim Carrey! How could he star in such a multiphobic film? And he made dirty money from it, that capitalist! Draw some cartoons about that, Mr. Grinch.

Let me take you through some ‘evidence’ that cancel culture will use against the Bible and all who value it, right from the Bible itself. I was going to quote a bunch of verses, but that would have landed me in hot water with TBP Bible police, so I’ll just give the references for you to read on your own. Take the time to go through them for these are passages you will hear liberals quoting in Congressional hearings about the offensiveness of the Bible.

The Bible is homophobic. Leviticus 18:22
The Bible promotes the death penalty for homosexuality. Leviticus 20:13
The Bible is against welfare. 1 Timothy 5:8
The Bible promotes starving people who do not work. 1 Thessalonians 3:10
The Bible is packed with conspiracy theories. Psalm 64:2
The Bible demonizes anyone who does not agree with it. Psalm 92:11
The Bible promotes domestic terrorism. Psalm 149:6-9
The Bible denigrates women. 1 Corinthians 14:34
The Bible opposes the settled law of abortion. Psalm 139:13, Leviticus 18:21
The Bible prohibits lawful beastiality. Leviticus 18:23
The Bible opposes gun control. 1 Samuel 13:19-22
The Bible promotes slavery. Colossians 3:22
The Bible is against spirituality. Leviticus 20:6
The Bible teaches there is only one god. Deuteronomy 6:14
The Bible teaches that anyone who does not believe it will go to hell. Revelation 21:8
The Bible promotes corporal punishment of children. Proverbs 23:13
The Bible promotes genocide. 1 Samuel 15:2-3
The Bible says you should hate your family. Luke 14:26
The Bible prohibits pedophilia. Matthew 18:6
The Bible promotes suicide. Matthew 27:5

I’m sure you Bible scholars will contribute even more incendiary, liberal triggering passages in the comments. Please post the passages with as little context as possible, as I have above, in the spirit of cancel culture.

Folks, they are coming for the Bible. They will not tear it out of your hands, but pretty soon you will not be able to buy one from Amazon or Barnes & Noble, the Christian bookstores will be blacklisted by banks and Paypal, and online Bible sites like BibleGateway will be deplatformed. Any mention of Bible text on social media will be purged and labeled hate speech. If you want to be sure your children and grandchildren have Bibles to read, you had better stock up now, before the printers shut down. You can download full copies of the Bible to your preferred technological stupefier and preserve them there, assuming that the lights stay on after communism reaches full corpse flower.

These people are not just taking a book from you. They are taking the basis for American culture. Though this nation was not founded as a theocracy, it certainly was founded on Biblical principles, principles that are abhorrent to the leftists at every level, personal, family, social, intellectual, scientific, political, and governmental. They are not erasing the Bible, they are erasing you. This is not a war on a book, it is a war on you, one who lives basic Biblical values. Most atheists live by the same Biblical values, which they simply call common sense.

This is a sweeping war. You cannot name a Biblical virtue they are not removing from our society. Just try. Every virtue you possess, they are erasing. Think about it.

What will churches do during this Bible bashfest? The best will continue to preach out of the Bible, until their 501(c)(3) government licenses are revoked, then they will all migrate to home churches, only to be persecuted by liberal neighbors for having non-socially distanced hate gatherings. The liberal churches will not change one bit, because they already shun the Bible. Do good, be happy, go along to get along. Their cup overfloweth with syncretism.

If you read the Bible, or more dangerously, believe it, you are ripe for reeducation or internment. Maybe even interment, you hater! I know a woman who is a veritable fount of scripture. She has vast swaths of the Bible memorized and every word out of her mouth is an encouragement. And I know another guy who has some kind of physical disability but is a Bible savant and knows most all of it by heart. Those people are candidates for imprisonment. Don’t believe me? Christian imprisonment and murder is fully underway in Africa, Iran, Turkey, and China.

Look, the Bible addresses the sick mindset we battle. It calls them fools. Read the book of Proverbs, which contrasts the foolish and the wise. Nothing has changed in the character of man since, well, ever. For example, take this passage out of Isaiah, circa 500 B.C., talking about a man who is settling down for an evening meal by the fire:

Isaiah 44:15-17 [Wood] is used as fuel for burning; some of it he takes and warms himself, he kindles a fire and bakes bread. But he also fashions a god and worships it; he makes an idol and bows down to it. Half of the wood he burns in the fire; over it he prepares his meal, he roasts his meat and eats his fill. He also warms himself and says, “Ah! I am warm; I see the fire.” From the rest he makes a god, his idol; he bows down to it and worships. He prays to it and says, “Save me! You are my god!”

No, that is not satire from the Babylon Bee. This passage describes a total fool, a person you might find today in the automotive aisle at WalMart looking for artistic inspiration for his next tattoo. This describes enlightened liberals who drive pricey electric cars which are recharged by coal generated power. This is a gay person who supports Islam over Christianity without considering how Islam throws gay people off the tops of buildings. This is a woke mob demonstrating for liberal environmental policies and leaving literally tons of trash behind.

They just ain’t that smart. But what they lack in intelligence, they make up for in short attention span viciousness in response to those stabs of guilt.

The foolish liberals have created a puzzle of idiocy in which the pieces do not fit together. For example, in another delicious irony the liberals will have to cancel Darwin and the vast body of teaching that has sprung from his theories. Darwin, et al. teach survival of the fittest, that any harmful trait entering a population is selected out in succeeding generations, and any trait selected out is likely harmful or useless. This is a direct condemnation of homosexuality, which inhibits procreation not in some succeeding generation, but in generation zero.

I’m resisting the urge to turn this into a Bible study, for you TBPers who are Bible averse, but permit me one more passage. Romans 1:29-31 talks about people who ignore God, that they “invent ways of doing evil.”

This is the liberal portrait of the ages, their goth Mona Lisa. They invent ways of doing evil. In my wildest nightmares as a child I never dreamt of the things liberals are doing to their own children, slicing off their genitals, giving them hormone treatments and playing dress up with clothes of the opposite gender, pretending that their boy is a girl, or their girl is a boy, or something in between. There is nothing in the Bible specifically addressing this practice – such horror was not conceived when the Bible was written. Liberals invent ways of doing evil. And there’s more where that came from.

Your homework is to read the entirety of Romans chapter 1. Could have been written yesterday.

The Biblephobes are coming for a book characterized in their limited minds by the out of context quotes I presented above. They never read it. Their attention span fades at 140 characters. I’ve probably accelerated their attack on the Bible by providing them with an easy cut/paste thesis, above, relieving them of any real research requirement. You’re welcome.

Don’t think they are going to stop at the Bible. Remember, this is a war on you. The Bible is simply a picture of you, and when they have burned all those Bibles the bonfires will have hot coals ready for fresh fuel.

What shall we do? Live free. Get out of their way. They jettison all good just so they can indulge their appetites without guilt. But they cannot ultimately win. Ask Darwin! They are their own punishment even as they live.

But if you do come upon a liberal who is painfully reaping what they’ve sowed, and their heart is open, speak the truth to them. Forgive, for if we do not forgive a repentant person we have also abandoned the truth in the Bible, and we are as bad off as they. There are going to be a lot of Westboro Baptists in hell with liberals – don’t be either.

And you, read that Bible, and in context! If you have not, start by reading every book that has the name John in the title. Please read it in your native language, and there are many modern translations you can understand. Realize that the Bible is not a book, but a library of books. You don’t walk into a library and start reading the first book on the first shelf, working your way to the end. You focus on the sections that interest you, or books you need to read. Approach the Bible the same way and you will be blessed. There is a spiritual dimension to the Bible that is totally lost on liberals, but which you are wired for. There is a depth beyond imagining, but to experience it you have to start your journey. Start your journey.

Ooops! There I go with the Bible study again. Release the cranky curmudgeons. I certainly deserve it.
